Portimão 2010 Memories

The Gymnastics Federation of Portugal and the City of Portimão were entrusted by FIG (Féderation Internationale de Gymnastique) with the organization the 5th Portimão "FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Series - Category A" Competition from March 11th to March 14th 2010. At the same occasion the Portimão Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament celebrated it's 24th anniversary!

Its was unique occasion where the city, it's inhabitants, visitors and worldwide TV audiencewitnessed some amazing RG Competitions writing another special page for the history of this sport!

In total 350 participants joining from 30 National Federations - of these 22 joined the "FIG RG World Cup Cat. A- Individual", 15 joined the "FIG RG World Cup Cat. A - Groups" whilst the International Tournament hosted 18 National Federations.
